Keionte Scott, Auburn standout DB, reveals plans for 2024 season

Keionte Scott is staying on The Plains for another season.
Scott took to social media on Monday to address his 2024 plans. He joined AU ahead of the 2022 season after playing his first 2 years in the JUCO ranks.
Scott reflected on a memorable 2 seasons at Auburn before letting fans know that he’s not done wearing orange and blue. Scott will take advantage of his remaining eligibility to play for Auburn in 2024.

Returning Scott is a big boost for Auburn entering Year 2 under Hugh Freeze. Playing in 9 games, Scott recorded 41 tackles, including 2 TFLs, and 4 pass breakups during the 2023 regular season. In 2022, he logged 53 total tackles, with 2 for loss, and 4 passes defended with 1 interception.
Scott has also contributed in the return game. He has recorded 26 punt returns for 322 yards over the past 2 seasons. In Auburn’s 48-10 win over Arkansas, Scott returned a punt for a touchdown.
The Tigers are currently focused on ending the 2023 campaign on a high note. Auburn is set to face Maryland in Nashville for the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30.
