Kentucky announces uniform combo for season-opener against Toledo

After winning 10 games in 2018, Kentucky is ready to start the 2019 season.
For the season-opener at home against Toledo, Kentucky is going with a blue jersey, blue helmet, white pants and white/blue Nike vapor cleats. While that’s what most Wildcats will be wearing, UK QB Terry Wilson is expected to pay tribute to the late Kentucky great Jared Lorenzen with a custom pair of cleats. This summer, Wilson also talked about sporting No. 22, Lorenzen’s jersey number for the season-opener.
The game is set for a noon ET kickoff and will air on the SEC Network.
The uniform combination was announced by the team’s official Twitter account as the “Week 1 drip” (because all the cool kids are saying drip these days):
