Kentucky can become bowl-eligible for the first time since 2011 with a win against Georgia this weekend, so it’s no surprise Wildcat fans are lining up for a chance to see it happen.
Since Monday, Kentucky has sold more than 1,000 tickets a day for Georgia game. Number is at 55,600 as of Wednesday, official said.

Kentucky is quickly approaching a sellout of Commonwealth Stadium, which was recently reduced to about 61,000 seats due to stadium renovations. Fans sold out the venue several times in 2015, but the highest-attended game this season was the season opener against Southern Miss (57,230).
The excitement around the program is understandable. After an 0-2 start that had several calling for Stoops to be fired, the Wildcats have reeled off wins in five of their last six games. Kentucky is just one game behind Florida in the SEC East standings and aiming for its first five-win season in SEC play since 1977.
