Kentucky’s exit from the AP Poll was a short one, as the Wildcats are back in the top 25 only a week after dropping from the poll. UK sits at No. 21 in the latest poll. Kentucky had been ranked in the AP Poll for 68 weeks prior to falling out last week.
The SEC’s highest ranked team in the current poll is Auburn at No. 11. The Tigers have not been in the top 10 of the poll since 2000. The No. 11 ranking matches their highest since Feb. 21, 2000 poll.
Tennessee remains ranked and jumps up a few spots from No. 22 to No. 18. The Vols have the SEC’s longest active streak in the poll, at 9 consecutive weeks.
Florida is also ranked in the poll at No. 23. The Gators were No. 20 last week.
