Kentucky DB with starting experience entering transfer portal, per report
Kentucky may be losing one of its corners to the transfer portal, and a veteran one at that.
Cedrick Dort Jr. is entering the transfer portal and is leaving Lexington per a report from On3Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Dort has been with the Wildcats since 2017, and has 38 solo tackles, seven pass deflections, and one forced fumble since starting his collegiate career there. Dort has played in 31 games for Kentucky, and started in 13 of them.
Zenitz posted the report from his Twitter account on Thursday afternoon.

This season, Dort has 12 solo tackles and appeared in 10 games for the Wildcats, including the Citrus Bowl against Iowa.
With how much experience Dort has, it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up. Only time will tell.
