Following last year’s addition of Reid Travis, Kentucky has decided to go back to the graduate transfer well this offseason.
The new name for Wildcats fans to know is Nate Sestina, a graduate transfer from Bucknell. The Pennslyvania native averaged over 15 points and eight rebounds for the Bucknell last season for a team that went 21-12 and finished first in the Patriot League.
Sestina announced the news on Thursday via Twitter:
“It’s been an amazing ride from Emporium to Bucknell and everywhere in between, and it’s surreal to think my college basketball career isn’t over yet.
“I’m humbled to get started with @KentuckyMBB! Need to thank God, my family, my coaches, teammates and @UKCoachCalipari #BBN”
