Kentucky lands commitment from 2019 QB Amani Gilmore moments after smoking Mississippi State

When you win on the field, it usually translates into wins on the recruiting trail, and that was certainly the case for the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday night.
Moments after a big 28-7 home win over Mississippi State, the Wildcats landed a commitment from a 3-star 2019 quarterback out of Louisiana.
As you can see below, Amani Gilmore announced on Twitter that he was committing to the Wildcats following the big win:

According to the 247Sports composite, Gilmore is the No. 46 pro-style quarterback in the class of 2019 and the No. 55 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
The Wildcats now have 17 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 12 in the SEC and No. 38 nationally, per 247Sports.
