King, from Mason, Ohio, is ranked as the No. 20 prospect from the Buckeye State in the class of 2017. The new Wildcats pledge also had an offer from Tennessee.
UK now has 11 total commitments for a class shaping up to be coach Mark Stoops’ best, currently ranking No. 9 nationally and No. 2 in the SEC according to 247Sports composite. In non-composite rankings, the service gives Kentucky the nod over Alabama as the SEC’s top class.
