Kentucky has wrapped up spring practices and will now turn its eyes toward the 2022 season, which kicks off in September.

As the second portion of the offseason begins, though, players are considering their spots on the depth chart, and that is leading some to enter the transfer portal.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Kentucky was losing redshirt freshman safety Rickey Hyatt Jr. to the portal:

Hyatt was a 3-star member of Kentucky’s 2020 recruiting class. He saw action in 2 games this past season, recording 1 tackle against New Mexico State.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but it appears his time in Lexington is coming to an end.
