Kentucky picks up first commitment for 2021 class, a 4-star point guard out of Utah

The Kentucky Wildcats are a national brand, so they recruit the top players from all across the United States.

They put together the No. 1 recruiting class for the 2020 cycle, and on Saturday, they got off to a good start with their 2021 class.

As you can see below, Nolan Hickman — a 4-star 2021 point guard out of Wasatch Academy in Utah — announced via Twitter that he was committing to coach John Calipari and the Wildcats:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Hickman is the No. 7 point guard in the class of 2021 and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of Utah.

Hickman is the first commitment in Kentucky’s 2021 class, which currently ranks No. 41 in the nation and No. 8 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
