Kentucky has a new offensive coordinator, Rich Scangarello, this season. For part of a day, the Wildcats had a fill-in OC, Steve Zahn.
Zahn, an Emmy-nominated actor and Kentucky fan, gave his best shot at being Mark Stoops’ OC in a hilarious video shared by the team’s official Twitter account:

Zahn, 53, has a farm in Georgetown, Kentucky. His film roles include “Reality Bites,” “That Thing You Do!,” “Crimson Tide,” “Stuart Little,” “Saving Silverman” and “Dallas Buyers Club.” Zahn was nominated for an Emmy award for his work in the HBO satirical comedy miniseries “The White Lotus.”
Scangarello, 50, has been in coaching since 1998. He joined the Kentucky staff in February after previously serving as the quarterbacks coach for the San Francisco 49ers.
Kentucky, with Scangarello calling plays, opens the 2022 season on Sept. 3 against Miami (Ohio). Zahn will presumably be cheering on the Cats.
