By now, you’ve probably heard about how Crimson Tide RB Bo Scarbrough did his best Derrick Henry impression at Alabama’s first spring scrimmage on Saturday.

But did you know that offensive coordinator almost didn’t see it happen?

As documented by Alabama beat writer Aaron Suttles, Kiffin was seen jogging around Bryant-Denny Stadium in search of an unlocked gate approximately 30 minutes before the start of the scrimmage.

We’ve all been there before– Frantically rushing to work in hopes that the boss doesn’t find out that we’re running late.

But the fact that it happened to Kiffin and he just happened to run past a beat writer in the process is pretty funny.

And what was he late for anyway? The possibilities are endless for a guy like Lane.

As you may remember, this is not Lane’s first famous tardiness photo as the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator.

He missed the team bus following Alabama’s national championship win against Clemson on January, which left him hitching a ride from Nick Saban to get back to the team hotel.

Just wait until Nick hears about this one.
