Kirby Smart describes what makes James Cook a good leader for Georgia

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs rely heavily on their running attack, and James Cook is a big part of that ground success.
Cook is also a dynamic threat in the passing game, and he is a team leader, too.
Ahead of Friday’s College Football Playoff semifinal against Michigan at the Orange Bowl, Smart praised Cook’s leadership ability:
“He speaks. People listen. He doesn’t speak very often, but when he gets up in front of the team people know it comes from the heart.”@thegreat__4 is a leader for @GeorgiaFootball on and off the field. pic.twitter.com/oSDMiQlE5v

“He’s been a good leader for us, because when he speaks, people listen,” Smart said. “He doesn’t speak very often, but when he gets up in front of the team people know it comes from the heart. The way he practices, the way he plays, people respect it.”
Cook is from the Miami area, so this game means even more to him. We’ll see if he can have a big performance for the Dawgs on Friday night.
