The Georgia Bulldogs just got some good news with their receiving corps, as former 5-star recruit and recent Cal transfer Demetris Robertson was cleared to play this fall.

However, the Bulldogs also are dealing with some bad news in the receiving corps, as veteran receiver Terry Godwin is still dealing with a knee injury.

After Saturday’s practice, coach Kirby Smart discussed Godwin’s injury, saying the Dawgs are still in a wait-and-see mode with the talented wide out (via OnlineAthens.com):

“Terry is still dinged up,” Smart said. “Terry hasn’t been able to get out there and go. Hoping we’ll get him back soon.”

Godwin recorded 38 catches for 639 yards and six touchdowns. He’ll be counted on to lead the receivers again this year, so it’s imperative that he return to the field soon.

For now, though, the Bulldogs are playing it safe with the senior receiver.
