Kirby Smart listed Brock Bowers as a game-time decision ahead of kickoff.

Warren Bowers, Brock’s father, said on Friday that the return will come down to how the ankle responds and that the Georgia TE could return for Saturday’s game, sometime in the next few weeks, or not at all.

Smart told Holly Rowe the news on SEC Nation. Smart is waiting to see how Bowers looks at warmups.

Bowers leads Georgia in receiving yards, even after not playing in the last few games. Bowers picked up the ankle injury against Vanderbilt in October.

Bowers accounted for 567 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns before going down with the injury.

The Bulldogs could need Bowers against Ole Miss. The Rebels come into the game at 8-1 after beating Texas A&M 38-35 after a missed game-tying field goal.

Georgia beat Missouri 30-21 in its last game in Athens. Regardless of whether Bowers plays, the stakes are high for both teams.
