Brock Bowers is going to be a game-time decision for Saturday’s game with Ole Miss.

Bowers’ father updated his status via the Athens Banner-Herald. It will all come down to ankle performance, according to Warren Bowers.

There isn’t a timeline for Bowers to return to the football field at the moment. Warren Bowers said that Brock could return this week, next week, the following week, or not at all depending on how the ankle responds.

“There is no timeline for return to play,” Warren Bowers said. “It all depends on how the ankle is responding. It could be this week. It could be next week. It could be the following week. Or not at all. It all depends.”

If Bowers does come back sooner rather than later, he would give the offense a boost for sure. Although Bowers hasn’t played since the Vanderbilt game, he still leads the team in receiving yards (567).

Bowers was a huge part of the offense before the ankle injury.

The Bulldogs take on their toughest opponent yet as Ole Miss travels to Sanford Stadium. It will be the first meeting between the 2 teams since the 2016 season.

Georgia and Ole Miss meet in Athens at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
