The College Football Playoff top four will be different this week due to Alabama’s win over LSU.
The Tigers were the top one-loss ranked team in the country, and after being shutout by the Tide, the Tigers will certainly fall. We’ll have to wait to see how far.
Following the Week 10 action, Kirk Herbtreit updated his top four teams. No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Clemson didn’t change. Herbie ranked Notre Dame No. 4 last week, and the Irish move up to No. 3 following the win over Northwestern. The Michigan Wolverines moved up from No. 5 to No. 4 this week, too.
With Georgia’s win over Kentucky, the Dawgs moved up to No. 5, just out of the the top four. Oklahoma rounded out Herbie’s top six.
My top 4 after WEEK 10.

It appears the only way the SEC will be able to get two teams in the College Football Playoff is if one-loss Georgia beats undefeated Alabama in the SEC Championship Game.
