Kirk Herbstreit did not expect Pat McAfee to be giving out another $300,000 on College GameDay Saturday morning.
For the 2nd straight week, a college student is taking Pat McAfee’s money. Against all odds, an Oklahoma student named Jack – a lefty – split the uprights in front of McAfee and Herbstreit to win $200K for himself and $100K for charity.
The make was so surprising that Herbstreit dropped a “You son of a B****!” on live television. In an approving way, of course.

Last week, when College GameDay was on site for a top 5 battle between Ohio State and Texas, the Ohio State representative hit the field goal so perfectly that it looked as if a college kicker had walked into the contest. If our math is correct, McAfee is now out over $500,000 this season through just 2 weeks.
Hopefully this week’s on-location game is a little more entertaining for offensive lovers. Texas fell to Ohio State 14-7 last week, but now it’s rival Oklahoma’s turn as they battle Ohio State rival Michigan in Norman, Oklahoma.
Ohio State’s kicker marked a good omen for the Buckeyes last week. Let’s see if Jack’s field goal has a similar effect on the Sooners.
