Kirk Herbstreit reacts to LSU’s stunning loss to Florida State

Kirk Herbstreit was like a lot of college football fans after Sunday night’s stunning defeat for LSU against Florida State.

The ESPN analyst put it this way on social media: “After an unimaginable TD drive with no time left. Only thing left… “the formality” extra point to tie it. Then this….
Feel awful for LSU and BK but what a win for the Noles.
Another reminder…
College Football-you never know what’s comin next!”

Herbstreit referred to what so many fans love about college football, its unpredictability.

But the defeat also raises questions for LSU and Brian Kelly, largely around the offensive line, and getting the ball to the talented wide receivers, most notably star Kayshon Boutte. QB Jayden Daniels had to scramble often and led LSU in rushing by 91 yards.

While LSU will turn its attention to Southern next week, Herbstreit and the “College GameDay” crew will likely spend some time on Kelly and the Tigers and where they stand after Week 1.
