Kirk Herbstreit updates his top-4 rankings following Week 5

Kirk Herbstreit and ESPN’s College GameDay crew were in Athens on Saturday. Herbstreit also called Georgia’s game on ESPN, so he got a first-hand look at how dominant the Bulldogs were.
Georgia put together a defensive master class, routing Arkansas 37-0. Then, on Saturday afternoon, Alabama put a blowout on Ole Miss, 42-21. The Tide led 35-0 at one point in the game.
On Sunday, Herbstreit took to Twitter to update his top-4 rankings. As you can see below, he has Alabama and Georgia in the No. 1 and No. 2 spot, respectively. Then, he has Iowa No. 3 and Cincinnati No. 4:

On the outside looking in, Herbie has Penn State at No. 5 and Oklahoma at No. 6.
Having Cincinnati in his top 4 is interesting. We’ll see where the Bearcats stand when the Coaches and AP Polls come out on Sunday afternoon.
