ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit weighed in on Alabama’s current QB battle Thursday on Twitter. Herbstreit said the battle could continue past fall camp, with two quarterbacks splitting time early in the season.
Wouldn't be surprised to see 2 QBs early in the year until someone establishes himself. https://t.co/AzBaeXr5sD

Alabama has replaced its starting quarterback from the previous year in each of the past three seasons. Junior Cooper Bateman, redshirt freshman Blake Barnett and true freshman Jalen Hurts are all being considered for the position.
Herbstreit added that he believes Hurts will be considered in some capacity, although it seems he thinks the job is Barnett’s to lose.
Blake and Hurts is my guess. Or maybe Bateman and Hurts if Blake continues to make mistakes. https://t.co/LsPBaCqx7V
