KJ Bolden is just over a month away from making his college commitment. The sought-after top recruit has set his commitment date for Aug. 5, according to Chad Simmons of On3.
Out of Buford (Georgia), Bolden is a 6-1, 185-pound athlete. On the 247Sports Composite, Bolden is rated 5-stars, the No. 1 safety, No. 2 Georgia recruit and No. 6 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.
Bolden is showing strong interest in playing in the SEC. Alabama, Auburn and Georgia are among the 5 finalists. He’s also considering Florida State and Ohio State.

Bolden took official visits throughout the month of June. His Auburn visit, however, is set for the fall when Buford is on its bye week. Bolden documented his recent visits to Athens and Tuscaloosa on social media.

It goes without saying that Bolden will be a huge get for the program that lands his commitment. We’ll find out next month if he decides to play in the SEC.
