Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson entered the 2022 season as one of the best signal-callers and the SEC and a chance to become one of the best in the nation.

So far, so good.

Two weeks into the 2022 season, Jefferson has completed 76.6% of his passes for 385 yards with 4 touchdowns and zero interceptions. He’s shown marked improvement as a passer and continues to be the same physical threat on the ground that he originally caught so much attention for with 129 rushing yards and two rushing scores through as many contests.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jefferson’s 14 forced missed tackles also lead the nation. That puts him directly ahead of Georgia Tech’s Jeff Sims (10) and Oklahoma State’s Spencer Sanders (8).

Jefferson and the Razorbacks will get back to action as they face Missouri State in what is expected to be an easy win on Saturday.
