Kentucky stays hot on the recruiting trail.

The Wildcats picked up three-star defensive tackle Kobe Smith out of Lawrenceville, Georgia, for the class of 2016.

Smith committed to Kentucky over Miami (FL), Arkansas, Kansas State and Missouri, among others. The 6-4, 295-pound prospect is rated as the Peach State’s 51st overall prospect, according to 247Sports’ Composite Ranking.

Smith decommitted from NC State earlier this month, and he becomes the Cats’ 21st commitment of the ’16 class.
