Kyle Pitts becomes 4th rookie TE in NFL history to reach impressive milestone

Kyle Pitts was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, going to the Atlanta Falcons.
He’s paid immediate dividends for the Falcons, racking up and impressive amount of catches in his first season as a pro after dominating in 2020 at Florida.
Now, he’s joined some elite company. He became the fourth rookie tight end in NFL history to catch at least 60 passes, joining Keith Jackson, Jeremy Shockey and Evan Engram:
Kyle Pitts is the 4th tight end in @NFL history with at least 60 receptions in their rookie season.
He joins Keith Jackson (81 in 1988), Jeremy Shockey (74 in 2002) and Evan Engram (64 in 2017) @AtlantaFalcons. pic.twitter.com/B0cPRgZb7j

That’s a good group to be part of. And, Pitts still has 2 regular-season games to go after Sunday’s contest.
How many more catches can he rack up? He might not reach Jackson’s record of 81 grabs for a rookie tight end, but he could pass Engram and Shockey.
