Lane Kiffin is as plugged into the media world as any college football head coach out there, and he seems to see everything, especially when he sees something he feels isn’t fair to his surging Ole Miss program.

Kiffin’s Rebels are riding high in 2025, with a No. 7 ranking and a 7-1 record, and they are coming off arguably the biggest victory of the Kiffin era in Oxford. Last Saturday in Norman, Ole Miss outlasted Oklahoma, and Lane Kiffin was so fired up after the win that he celebrated with the Rebels fans afterward who made the trip. Kiffin even threw his visor into the stands.

But this Saturday morning, as Kiffin was preparing for a Week 10 home primetime matchup against SEC rival South Carolina (7 p.m. ET, ESPN), he made a guest appearance on SEC Nation, which was being broadcast live from Austin leading up to Texas‘ battle with Vanderbilt.

And this is where Kiffin was right in his comfort zone. He called out the SEC Nation crew for all picking Oklahoma during last week’s show. They even showed the graphic of those Sooners logos straight across the screen, with no Ole Miss logos to see anywhere, which Kiffin displayed himself in a post on his social media account.

So Kiffin was all over it last week, and then Saturday morning he went into deep sarcasm mode, too, saying that he and his team were all going to be watching Saturday’s pick segment in the hopes that everyone picked against the Rebels again.

Here is the full clip of Kiffin being Kiffin, hours before he tries to lead the Rebels to their 8th win of the season:
