All signs point to Lane Kiffin becoming Ole Miss’ next head coach. Multiple reports surfaced Friday night that indicated Kiffin would replace Matt Luke as the Rebels next head coach.

Kiffin is currently the head coach at FAU, and the Owls play UAB Saturday for the Conference USA Championship. He’s expected to arrive in Oxford at some point Sunday with a press conference Monday, per reports.

On Saturday morning, College GameDay shared video of Kiffin’s son, Knox, reacting to his father taking the Ole Miss job, as broke out the S-E-C chants!

Knox was named after Kiffin’s one-year stint in Knoxville at Tennessee.

Following his stint under Nick Saban at Alabama as the Tide’s offensive coordinator, Kiffin took the FAU job and has really done well and rehabbed his image. He’s compiled a 25-13 overall record, including 18-6 in conference. Kiffin has had head coaching stints at Tennessee and USC prior, too.
