Georgia coach Kirby Smart and Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin are great friends. They have a text thread with former SEC coaches Jeremy Pruitt and Will Muschamp and seem to have a lot of fun trolling each other.
We all remember the epic “Father’s Day” tweet Kiffin sent, implying that Alabama coach Nick Saban was Smart’s father, based on the wins Saban’s Tide have over Smart’s Bulldogs.
Smart discussed that tweet on a recent episode of “Marty and McGee,” trolling Kiffin back. Of course, Kiffin couldn’t let his friend get the last laugh.
He took to Twitter to call out Smart for his word choice during the segment:

It’s great to see some big-name coaches having some fun ahead of the season. We can’t wait to see the next chapter in this saga.
