Last Chance U star head coach announces resignation from school

“Last Chance U” star head coach Jason Brown announced his resignation from Independence Community College early Monday morning.

The brash head coach helped make the Netflix series very watchable and often entertaining. However, his resignation comes days after he reportedly told a German player, “I’m your new Hitler.” As you can imagine, his comments created a stir on social media and everywhere else.

“Given what has most recently been allowed to transpire, it is clear, that it will be nearly impossible to stay here,” Brown said in his released statement. “More plainly, the Montgomery County Chronicle has greatly diminished my ability to successfully do my job, and has set this football program back significantly, and the cumulative effect of all these detrimental factors I believe clearly constitute a constructive discharge of my employment.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Brown resurfaces in college football at another program.
