In the latest edition of what Tennessee fans are saying to AD John Currie on Twitter…

Poor John Currie.
It doesn’t make a difference what the Tennessee athletic director tweets. It’s all going to be met with the same response from Vol Twitter — Fire Butch Jones!
Currie sent out a tweet about visiting with some academic department heads on Thursday at a forum in Hodges Library, and it did not go over well.
Maybe he should just refrain from using Twitter for the foreseeable future, at least until something good happens with the football program. Volunteers fans are on edge.
This is not the first time Currie has experienced a firestorm after a non-football related tweet.
This was the tweet Currie sent on Thursday evening:
Enjoyed an afternoon visit with @UTKnoxville academic department heads at today’s forum in Hodges Library. #GBO

Now check out these replies. Hilarious.
You need to meet with a new elite football coach

You should have @UTCoachJones enjoy a visit to your office where he is fired

Did they say #FireButchJones too?
