Can anybody beat Alabama this year? Better yet, can anybody stay with Alabama this year?
That’s a question everyone is asking after seven dominant weeks by the Crimson Tide. Alabama has the nation’s best player in Tua Tagovailoa, and the Tide are dominating in margin of victory led by the explosive offense.
Saturday morning on College GameDay, Lee Corso said there are only two teams that can keep up with Alabama this season.

“In my opinion, only two teams can stay with Alabama — Ohio State and Clemson,” Corso said.
Alabama, of course, wouldn’t play either team until the College Football Playoff, but it’s fun to think about hypothetical matchups. Aside from potentially Michigan, Ohio State has a great road to make the Playoff again, and Clemson does, too. The other College Football Playoff favorite is Notre Dame, who should finish undefeated.
While it’s fun to talk about hypothetical Playoff mathups, LSU may have something to say about Alabama next Saturday. The Tigers may be the Tide’s only real test of the regular season.
