It seems as though the United States is pulling out all the stops in its efforts to improve relations with Cuba.
First, it was Barack Obama becoming the first United States President to visit the island in nine decades earlier this week.
Now, the SEC is sending its best ambassador to help with the effort.
According to the LSU football Twitter feed, Les Miles is in Cuba this week.
The secret is out. @LSUcoachMiles is in Cuba this week. Could he be down there auditioning to become the World's Most Interesting Man?

The Tigers are taking a break from spring practice to observe spring break, and Miles has taken the opportunity to leave the country.
It appears as though his visit to Cuba is at least two-fold, as former LSU baseball player Mikie Mahtook Tweeted early Tuesday morning that he was happy to see that Miles would be able to attend the Tampa Bay Rays’ exhibition game against the Cuban national team.
Beyond excited for today! Can't believe @LSUCoachMiles is going to be here to take it all in. #RaysInCuba #LSU

But Miles is also there for humanitarian reasons, according to the LSU football Twitter feed. He is visiting schools and delivering soccer balls, among other things.
Actually, @LSUCoachMiles is in Cuba to visit schools & experience the culture. He brought dozens of soccer balls to distribute to kids. #LSU

Perhaps Les Miles is the world’s most interesting man.
