LOOK: Averion Hurts tweets about his brother Jalen’s recovery from surgery

Alabama backup QB Jalen Hurts missed the LSU game on Saturday night after having foot surgery a couple of weeks ago.
Hurts did not look good during warmups on Saturday, leading to the decision to keep him on the bench as the Crimson Tide cruised to a 29-0 victory.
On Monday, Hurts’s older brother, Averion Hurts Jr., said there’s no such thing as “minor surgery” and that Jalen will be back when he’s ready:

Hurts saw his brother’s tweet and responded to it, as you can see below:

Alabama could be without Hurts again this weekend against Mississippi State. With Tua Tagovailoa dealing with a minor knee injury, the Tide could be in a tenuous position at quarterback moving forward.
