LOOK: Former players, fans react to Florida’s orange end zones

For the first time since 1989, the end zones at Steve Spurrier-Florida Field are orange. The change to the look of The Swamp has been welcomed with seemingly universal approval from Gators and former players alike judging by the early social media reactions.

The orange end zones were first revealed Thursday in a tweet by @NaturalWorks_. On Friday, Florida in-house writer Scott Carter confirmed that the end zones would remain orange for the rest of UF’s season, which includes three November home games with Missouri, South Carolina and Idaho.
