LOOK: Levi’s Stadium attendance favors Clemson over Alabama

With the game a longer trip for Alabama and Clemson fans than recent sites such as Miami, Tampa and New Orleans, many wondered how many fans would ultimately show up at Levi’s Stadium.
There were also many stories about lower than usual ticket prices leading up to Monday night.
The Montgomery Advertiser’s Josh Vitale shared a photo (via Twitter) of the crowd from the press box ahead of kick off. He noted some empty seats and the appearance of more Clemson fans in the crowd:
The crowd inside Levi’s Stadium a few minutes before kickoff of the CFP National Championship game. Mostly full, but definitely some visible empty sears. More orange than crimson.
