This is certainly a creative headline.
According to reports, Mississippi State has found the next head coach of the Bulldogs. The team has been in the process of finding a new head coach since Sunday’s announcement that Dan Mullen was leaving to become the next head coach at Florida.
Mississippi State is reportedly working on a deal with Penn State OC Joe Moorhead. He has served at that post the past two seasons after serving as the head coach at Fordham from 2012-2015.
In response to the report that a deal should be completed soon, The Clarion Ledger ran a creative headline announcing the selection of Moorhead. The headline plays off of the tradition of the cowbells at MSU and is a good welcome to the coach.
Hugh Kellenberger shared a photo of the headline:
If you're into newspaper front pages, and particularly headlines, I think this one is a good one. pic.twitter.com/WFHww2NkOX
