Phil Longo appears to be quite pleased with the results of Ole Miss’ 2018 recruiting efforts.

The Ole Miss offensive coordinator was so happy with the Rebels’ results — likely due to the signings of U.S. Army All-American quarterback Matt Corral, Under Armour All-American receiver Elijah Moore (both flips from other SEC programs) and four-star receiver Miles Battle, that he felt like rocking out during the program’s recent National Signing Day celebration event.

Here’s Longo dressed as Bret Michaels at the event:

Why did Longo choose Michaels? Apparently, the musician’s daughter dates Corral. Michael’s posted about that on Facebook and Longo was eager to welcome Michaels to Rebel Nation in response:

While Ole Miss officially counts 21 signees in the program’s 2018 recruiting class, it appears the Rebels really added 22 new faces to the program. Who knows, Michaels may even show up in Oxford this fall to support the team. After all, the Grove is known to be a welcoming place for famous musicians.
