It took a while, but Tennessee’s Rock was finally able to welcome a new head coach.
One of the most eventful coaching searches in recent memory reached its conclusion Thursday with the announcement that Jeremy Pruitt will be the new head coach of the Vols.
Pruitt is the latest assistant of Nick Saban to take a head coaching position, and fans will be expecting big things from him moving forward. He is definitely a strong defensive mind who will look to surround himself with a strong staff of assistants.
It has been a rough year for the Vols, but Thursday’s announcement brings a bit of excitement to the fans. With the announcement of his hiring, Tennessee’s Rock officially welcomed the new coach to Rocky Top with an awesome paint job.
