LOOK: Tennessee fan takes things a bit far likening Butch Jones to national tragedy

Tennessee fans are really trying to be heard by the administration.
They have been quite vocal recently with the “Fire Butch Jones” campaign. That’s understandable, considering Tennessee is 3-5 overall this season and winless against the SEC.
But that campaign may have peaked — or, uh, perhaps bottomed would be a better word — on Saturday morning.
One Tennessee fan, or maybe a group of Tennessee fans, draped a bed sheet sign off UT’s pedestrian walkway right beside Neyland Stadium.
Normally, this would be normal behavior with a coach on the hot seat, but the message on this one was a bit strong. It read, simply:
“Butch did 9/11 … #FireButch.”
Rough.
