When Ohio State graduate transfer QB Joe Burrow came to Baton Rouge this offseason and won the starting job for LSU, it set off a chain reaction in the quarterback room.
Both Justin McMillan (Tulane) and Lowell Narcisse (JUCO) transferred, leaving only Myles Brennan as Burrow’s backup.
On Sunday, ahead of Tuesday’s Fiesta Bowl matchup against UCF, Brennan was asked about transferring, and admitted that he also thought about it earlier this season:

Brennan stayed, though, and it appears he’ll remain with the program through the upcoming offseason, per his comments.
Burrow figures to remain the starter in 2019, so we’ll see if Brennan is on the roster for Week 1 next fall or if he too decides to move on.
