LSU isn’t about to let visiting Tennessee steal its thunder when it comes to the uniform game.

The Volunteers revealed on Monday that they were bringing back their “Smokey Grey” uniforms for the first time in several years, their last appearance coming in 2017.

The Tigers responded on Saturday by revealing their own special uniform combo. As you can see below, the team will be wearing all-whites for the midday showdown at Death Valley, as signified by the helmet picture below:

Indeed, the team came out for warmups with white pants, as you can see from LSU beat writer Preston Guy.

The Tigers are 4-1, ranked No. 25, and winners of their last 4 after a season-opening loss to Florida State. Meanwhile, the Volunteers are off to a 4-0 start and are ranked No. 8, with a victory in Baton Rouge and an Alabama win over Texas A&M setting up a Top 10 clash in Knoxville for Week 7.

Kickoff from Tiger Stadium is set for noon ET on ESPN.
