The LSU Tigers had another solid season in 2019-20, but had that season cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, they have a few players who will test the 2020 NBA Draft waters, so there could be some spots opening up on coach Will Wade’s roster.

On Monday, talented guard Javonte Smart took to Instagram to announce that he’d enter the 2020 NBA Draft pool, but would retain his college eligibility:

Smart appeared in 31 games for the Tigers this past season, starting 30 of them. He averaged 12.5 points, 4.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals per contest.

Will Smart stay in the draft or return to LSU for his junior season? We’ll find out over the course of the next few weeks, but it never hurts to get feedback from the NBA Draft committee.
