LSU loses former 4-star linebacker to NCAA transfer portal

LSU is going through spring practices right now, and players are starting to get a look at what their roles might be in 2022.
Across the nation, that will mean players entering the transfer portal, and that was the case at LSU on Monday evening.
As you can see below, LB Josh White, a former 4-star member of LSU’s 2020 recruiting class, took to Twitter to reveal he was entering his name in the portal:
After heavy prayer I’ve decided to step away from LSU and enter my name into THE TRANSFER PORTAL with 4 years of eligibility…❤️

White, as he mentioned in his tweet, will have 4 years of eligibility remaining at whatever school he decides to head to next.
White didn’t appear in any games in 2020, but played in 10 contests in 2021, recording 6 tackles.
