LSU’s offensive line is returning to full strength at the best possible time.
Sophomore right tackle Toby Weathersby told reporters Tuesday that he has been cleared to play this weekend against Alabama, which boasts the nation’s best rushing defense.

Weathersby suffered a high ankle sprain in the Tigers’ win against Mississippi State on Sept. 17 and missed the four games since then. The Advocate reported he was easing his way back into practice during LSU’s off week, and now it appears he’s back to full health.
The sophomore’s return to right tackle, where he started the first three games of the year, will be a welcome one for a Tigers offensive line that has experienced frequent shuffling due to injuries. Weathersby, however, is being thrown right back into the fire against a Crimson Tide defense that allows just 70 rushing yards per game.
No. 15 LSU (5-2, 3-1) hosts No. 1 Alabama (8-0, 5-0) at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday.
