LSU QB Danny Etling supports Les Miles for Purdue opening

Even before Purdue fired embattled coach Darrell Hazell on Saturday, former LSU coach Les Miles’ name was being mentioned for the position.
On Monday, LSU QB Danny Etling, a transfer from Purdue, said he’d love to see Miles end up with the Boilermakers:
“Coach Miles is a great coach,” Etling said Monday. “Purdue would be lucky to have him.”
Hazell was 9-33 in 3.5 seasons with the Boilermakers. Landing Miles would be big for the downtrodden Big Ten program.
Miles will likely be considered for a number of openings this offseason.
