LSU QB Joe Burrow is well aware of the atmosphere inside Tiger Stadium, and the pregame festivities that fuel the LSU faithful.

But following a rule change by the SEC, alcohol is now allowed in all stadiums, and LSU is expected to join several other schools to allow beer and wine sales in general seating areas. Previously, alcohol sales were limited to club or suite level areas of stadiums.

“I guess it might just prolong their drunkness,” Burrow said at SEC Media Days. “Coming into the stadium, they’ve already had a few adult beverages.”

It will no doubt be interesting to watch how the atmosphere evolves with the incoming change to allow alcohol sales at already one of the most storied atmospheres in sports.
