Published:

LSU fans have been clamoring for the university to allow the band to play the popular song “Neck” during games.

However, the school’s ban on the song during games continues, much to the chagrin of fans.

And, it appears, that ban will extend into the virtual world as well. Per insider Matt Brown, LSU didn’t request “Neck” as an audio asset for the upcoming return of the EA Sports college football video game franchise:

We’ll see what songs the LSU band does play in the upcoming video game, but “Neck” won’t be among them.

With EA Sports back in the college football world, though, there’s always a chance the song could be approved for the 2024 version and beyond!
