LSU held its second scrimmage of fall camp this weekend. Once again, it was a big day for backup quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.
Nussmeier, a freshman, went 18-of-32 passing for 308 yards, 3 touchdowns and an interception. Starting QB Max Johnson was 11-of-19 for 125 yards and a TD.
John Emery and Ty-Davis Price. In their absence, Josh Williams had the most productive day carrying the ball. The sophomore running back recorded 7 carries for 66 yards.
