LSU and Texas A&M have a lot at stake on Saturday night in what’s sure to be a rocking Kyle Field, as The 12th Man gets ready to host the Tigers in a game that’s dripping with College Football Playoff implications.

Both teams are 6-1. Both teams have won 6 in a row since a season-opening loss. Both teams are undefeated in the SEC, and both teams are looking to bolster their portfolio going into November.

The pressure will be present in College Station for the 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC and, well, that pressure and angst couldn’t wait until kickoff to spill over as players from both teams engaged in a brief scuffle during warmups.

Order was restored pretty quickly as cooler heads prevailed, but the players from both sides couldn’t wait for the pads to be on to bark at each other over an hour before kickoff.

The game is just about a tossup, with Texas A&M being a slight favorite. ESPN’s matchup predictor also gives the Aggies a very slight edge with a 52.7% chance to protect home field and make it 7 wins in a row.

LSU will have something to say about that — and it turns out some of the Tigers players already had something to say long before the real battle began.
