The buildup to the 2021 NFL Draft is upon us, and a number of SEC stars are in the mix to be drafted in Round 1.

One of the more intriguing prospects is Alabama QB Mac Jones. Jones has been projected anywhere from No. 4 to the Atlanta Falcons to not in the first round.

On Tuesday, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah updated his Round 1 mock draft, and as you can see below, he has a dozen SEC standouts going in the first 32 picks. And, interestingly, he has Jones replacing Drew Brees in New Orleans:

  • No. 3 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 6 — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 10 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 13 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 14 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 15 — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina — New England Patriots
  • No. 18 — Najee Harris, RB, Alabama — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 20 — Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida — Chicago Bears
  • No. 28 — Mac Jones, QB, Alabama — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 30 — Azeez Ojulari, LB, Georgia — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 31 — Landon Dickerson, OL, Alabama — Kansas City Chiefs
  • No. 32 — Nick Bolton, LB, Mizzou — Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Who will step up at Pro Days and improve their draft stock? Who will fall out of the Round 1 picture? We’ll find out over the next few weeks.
